Quality & Compliance

Certifications

Four independent bodies have audited some part of this business — a packaging safety standard, a quality system, Indian Customs, and the DGFT. Here is what each one actually covers, and how you can check it.

BRCGS Packaging Materials

BRCGS Certificated

Issued by BRCGS (Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standards)

An audited global standard for packaging that goes on to hold food. It covers hygiene, product safety, traceability and factory management — which is why UK, EU and Gulf buyers so often make it a condition of supply rather than a nice-to-have.

Scope
Manufacture of paper-based packaging materials
Certificate number
Shared on request with the certificate copy
How to verify
Certificate copy shared on request; BRCGS certification is also listed in the BRCGS Directory.

Star Export House

Star Export House

Issued by Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Government of India

A status the Government of India grants on verified export performance over several years. It is a statement about track record rather than product: the export volumes behind it have already been checked by someone other than us.

Scope
Recognised export status holder
Certificate number
Shared on request with the certificate copy
How to verify
Status holder certificates are issued and verifiable through the DGFT portal.

AEO — Authorised Economic Operator

AEO Certified

Issued by Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (Indian Customs)

Indian Customs vets the exporter's compliance record, security and record-keeping, then grants faster clearance and lower physical inspection rates. For you that shows up as fewer holds at origin and more predictable sailing dates.

Scope
Secure and compliant participant in the international supply chain
Certificate number
Shared on request with the certificate copy
How to verify
AEO status is issued by Indian Customs; the certificate is shared on request.

ISO 9001 — Quality Management System

Issued by Accredited certification body

A documented quality system: defined procedures, records that can be audited, and corrective action when something goes wrong. It is the baseline most procurement teams check before they look at anything else.

Scope
Quality management system for manufacture of paper packaging
Certificate number
Shared on request with the certificate copy
How to verify
Current certificate and revision confirmed on request.

Ask for the documents

We share certificate copies with serious enquiries — ask when you request a quote and we will send the current documents for whichever of these matters to your market. If your buyer, retailer or tender requires a certification we do not hold, tell us at the quote stage: we would rather say so up front than have it surface during an audit.

Beyond the Certificates

A logo on a website proves very little on its own. These are the checks that do not depend on taking our word for anything.

Government registrations

GST, IEC and Udyam numbers are published on our verification page and can be checked against the relevant Indian government portals in a few minutes.

Verify our registrations

Third-party inspection

Appoint SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek or your own agent for pre-shipment inspection at our factory, at your cost. Inspectors get full access during final QC.

Documentation & compliance

Our quality system in practice

What certification looks like on the floor: GSM verification, handle bond strength, print registration and count accuracy checked on every order.
