Folded jeans are about 35 × 28 cm and 5 cm thick, and denim is heavier than it looks at around 700 g a pair. That width is the deciding measurement: a carrier narrower than about 30 cm forces a second fold that customers dislike. For shipping, one pair fits a medium paper mailer; two pairs are thick enough that a large mailer or a slim carton works better.
