What size mailer or bag do I need for a t-shirt?

A retail-folded t-shirt is about 30 × 22 cm and only a couple of centimetres thick, so for shipping it suits a flat paper mailer rather than a box. A mailer has no gusset, so each extra shirt adds thickness that comes out of the mailer’s width and length — which is why three shirts need noticeably more mailer than one. In store, a flat V-bottom carrier is enough for a single shirt; square-bottom bags earn their keep when shoppers buy several items.

Are paper mailers strong enough for clothing?
